05-5-2009 - six months old

My mood while writing this blog: amazed

Mariah is now six months old, that is a half a year! I am just amazed on how time has flown by. Now I have six months to plan her first birthday party :-D

She still has blue eyes. Depending on the lighting they can be any color from green to grey. She is 17 pounds and 26 inches long. She is just beautiful!

Developmentally she is right on track, if not faster. She can sit up unassisted; crawl, but not as fast; she can roll over both ways and sit up on her own after she is laying on either her belly or back. She just learned to pull herself up on things so she is bouncing up and down. She might learn to walk soon.

She is still drinking formula. I've tried giving her stage one baby food and she seems to be getting the hang of it. We haven't been making it an everyday thing yet but we should. She drinks rice cereal in her bottle sometimes and doesn't seem to mind it.

I am still a stay at home mommy. I am doing great so far. Mariah is still teething so it has been kinda rough but it should be over soon, I hope. I am planning on getting a car at the end of June so I'm very excited about that. I'll let you know when it happens!
