19-7-2009 - convertible car seat

My mood while writing this blog: concerned

Mariah is now a little over 20 pounds and is growing out of her Chicco Key Fit 30 car seat very quickly. The infant car seat that we have now goes to 30 pound but Mariah just isn't comfortable in it anymore. She is a big girl and is over 28 inches long.



I did a little searching online and the safest convertible car seat is the Britax Boulevard (at least that was is coming up)



I bought the Chicco Key Fit 30 because this is confirmed to be the safest infant car seat but I have no idea if the Britax is confirmed to be the safest convertible.

If anyone can help out that would be great. Is anyone else have a big baby that is switching over soon? The good thing about the Britax is that it is also an infant seat so I can have it rear facing till she is a year old.

Both of my boys were out of their infant carriers by 8 months because they were so big. For both of them I used the convertible graco carseats. I really like them.

i have to get a convertible seat for shayla soon too but haven't really been researching yet.
