We had our first glimpse of baby this morning and I am so happy and relieved. Managed to completely tie myself up in knots over it this morning and by the time we arrived for our appointment I was a nervous wreck!
I am sure the operator has seen much more anxious parents but I acted like a complete loony, frantically asking if the heartbeat was strong and if everything was okay! I must have asked her the same questions at least three times! Ha ha! But I'm glad I did - I might not have believed it otherwise!
She had a few problems getting clear photos for us - apparently my uterus doesn't tilt - it is straight?! I have no idea if this is good or bad or what, but she didn't indicate it was anything to worry about...
We got two photos of baby which she says is snuggled right in nice and warm! I will try and add them to my profile as soon as I can.
Next scan in 4.5 weeks at 12 weeks, so cannot wait! Looking forward to hearing about everyone elses' scans!
