30-5-2009 - Blood Test results.

So when I found out I was pregnant it was May.7th 3 days after my missed period that I finally got a dark line. The day after my missed period I got a line but it looked like an evaporation line. I went to my Dr. on the 14th and she did blood work for my HCG levels. She told me she figured I was 6 1/2 weeks at the time of my appt.Well it took almost two weeks for the results but she called on Thursday an told me that my HCG levels were only 996 on the day of the 14th. So she is not sure what to think about that. She said maybe I ovulated really late and wasn't as far along as she thought. I had told her during that exam that I had thought I had ovulated late and thought I was 4 weeks - 5 at the most but she didn't think so because my cycles are regular. They are regular but not normal 28 days they are 33-34. I'm just hoping because I still have every symptom in the book that everything is fine and that the HCG levels were just because I am earlier than first thought. She can't see my until near the end of June now so here I must sit and wait and worry. This sucks!

I just found your post on the hcg forum. How are you? Is everything ok? I hope you were just earlier than you thought. I just got my results from my test and it was 20,790! I hope it's not twins. I hope you're ok sweety. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.

i would go get a second opionion and make an apt with another doc so that you can get an u/s or more blood work,she shouldnt let you go that long with no answers and its not good for you to be stressed either, i really would seek another doc.hope all works out.

well atleast you get blood tests and they tell you it. my doc never told me my test results. i see my doc for the first time june 15-i will be between 9-11wks seeing i am not sure of my due date. AF was April 3rd and then i had bleeding April 13, and i found out i was PG on May 12. so i don't know.
