Just got back from my u/s and there really is a baby in there! LOL! I put pics on profile. Found out I did ovulate late and I am 18 weeks and 3 days not 19 weeks and 2 days, but not a big difference. My Dr. might change my due date from Jan. 5th to the 10th. Baby's heartbeat was 155. Everything looks good and healthy. I have to wait 5 more days to find out the sex from my Dr. because the u/s tech could not tell me. He did say that the baby spread legs and gave him a good shot though. It was so exciting to see the baby and hear the heartbeat for the very first time. My Dr. has never been able to find the heartbeat since I have been pregnant and so with that and no more symptoms really I was beginning to think there was no baby in there.

I felt the same way as you did before my 1rst ultrasound..."Is there REALLY a baby in there??? Or am I just imagining this whole thing?" I really thought my brain and body had concocted an elaborate scheme against me, lol. That is, until the ultrasound and I saw the head, feet, legs, nose, heartbeat...now I am finally convinced that yes, I am pregnant!!! WOOT (only took 19 weeks of bloating, nausea, and food cravings to convince me...)CONGRATS!!!!

congrads! exciting, isnt it funny how the docs have no problem changing the due date for later but wont change mine to 7 days earlier( he measured dec 24th not 31st) i think its a plot against us women :)

im so happy to read your ultra sound blog- so there is a baby in there lol! I am going for my very first ultra sound this week also - I've felt somethings that might be baby movement but am starting to wonder if there is in fact a baby inside my tummy also! Can't wait to go see the doctor! :)

Your news is just music to my ears! How wonderful. I have had my due date changed 3 times. At first it upset me but now I'm like, WHO CARES! I'm due late January, and the baby will come when she wants to come - that's that! WOO HOO, I'm so happy for you!

YAY great news hun - and if your due on Jan 10th your due same date as me. I have been given two dates 7th & 10th so we are due date buddies lol. I find out the sex next friday at my next U/S I cant wait!!
