18-9-2009 - Time Is Flying Ladies!

Well it seems like I just started week 24 and BAM! it's almost over. This has been happening each week since I hit the 20 week mark. Not that I mind I just can't believe how quickly the days are going. It probably has something to do with the fact the school for the kids has started again and the regular routine had begun again. So much going on now to keep my mind off the pregnancy. Hope this is the case for all you, the faster it goes the faster we will be holding our precious little ones.

So we still can't agree on a middle name. I'm about ready to just say " No middle name then!" LOL! When family and friends would ask a couple of months ago if we had picked a middle name we just said no, but we have lots of time. Well now with time flying I'm feeling the pressure. If we have anymore kids after this we're going to be screwed. We are way to picky when it comes to names. We have read over thousands and none of them jump out and grab us.

Pregnancy wise my morning sickness that suddenly came back at the beginning of this week is still here. It's just a morning thing though, thank god. I'm am lucking out and still not getting swollen feet or hands like some I have been reading about. My tirednes has returned, it is not so bad that I have to have a nap so that is good. I just feel like I am dragging my feet all day trying to acomplish my day to day tasks. My boobs have been extremely itchy this week and my belly has just started getting itchy yesterday. Stretch marks, Who knows I have so many from my first pregnancy I would never notice if a new one showed up. LOL! I am not sleeping well at night at all. I am up every 2-3 hrs peeing. This is most likely contributing to my tiredness. Also the body pillow doesn't seem to be helping as much anymore.

Next Dr's appt. is on Sept 30th. Will be getting the results from my second u/s. Very excited. I should also be getting referred to the Dr. who will be delivering Rio; finally! Does anybody know what week you start going to your Dr. every two weeks instead of four? I'm excited about that too because I'm sure that will make the weeks seem to go by even faster than they are already.

My mom called and said that the beginning of next month she wants to take me on a shopping spree to get what ever I want. So I'm waiting until next month to begin my shopping. I have gotten the odd sleeper here and there but no big purchased yet. We still have a crib, stoller and infant car seat so that is awesome. I just need a diaper bag, playard, highchair, tub and of course clothes because all the clothes I have packed away are boys. I put in a special request to family and friends that I wanted nothing pink! Not that I don't like it but 2 years ago when my cousin had her little girl that's all anything was that she got for gifts. Anytime you seen here baby it was always in pink. My cousin said she got sick of it very quickly. So I figured that if I recieve nothing pink then that will allow me to control the volume of pink in the wardrobe. I sound crazy don't I!! I'm not a girly girl, I'm a tom boy. I myself don't wear pink or dresses. I hunt right along side my husband and shoot guns better than him. LOL!
