21-6-2008 - Week 12

My mood while writing this blog: Feeling OK!

Hello again!
I went to the Midwifes for the first time this week. There was no need to stay at the gyneacologists for the baby.... So after a thorough question-list where they askes all about me and my family, the midwife wanted to hear the heartbeat. So she searched and listened for 10 minutes, but found.....no heartbeat.
I wasn't scared because I had heard that sometimes the baby moves too much or is hiding behind the placenta... But it didn't feel like a nice moment either...
So then I went for an ultrasound and immedeately....
I saw a kicking, swimming, stretching, pushing and jumping baby on the screen, a lot bigger than last time I saw him/her...
Pffff what a relief! And what a busy baby!!! haha that promises something when I can feel the movements in e few weeks! haha hopefully baby-love will let me sleep now and then ;-)

Sooooow....all good news, in one week going off to second trimester!!
