08-4-2009 - Tough day

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Man I had a really rough day at work. Every patient had sumthin goin on that made me sweat. I'm a phlebotomist so I take blood. And if you work in health care you'll understand what i'm talkin about when i say that i jus couldn't hit the vein. I hate when i hafta poke sumone more than once, and i swear it was like one after another! We phlebotomist aka "vampires" have a saying, "If your first stick is good then the rest of your day will be good" and that is so true. I shoulda known when i didn't get blood after 2 sticks from my first patient. DAMN today was frustrating, aggitating, and hopeless. i felt so friggin pathetic today.

OH so for the last 1 or 2 weeks i swear my brain has stopped working and im completely emotional. I'm late for everything, very forgetful, and am dying after a 7 hour shift. Yah so i was almost late last nite, i got there in the nic of time-i had like 5 minutes on the clock, anyways i was telling mary that i don't know why im late for everything and she goes, "Maybe your pregnant, thats how i was before i found out i was." YAH so i hope mary is right!!! I was thinking i hope she jus rubbed sum Baby Dust on me....it would explain why things have been hectic for two weeks!!!
