24-2-2009 - Not To Much Longer.....!!

Well I just went to my doctors appointment today, it's been 5 days since my last appointment and within those last 5 days I have dilated 1-2 cm more. At my appointment last week ( February 19 ) I was only dilated 1 cm, so it seems that I'm moving along just fine. I love being pregnant dont get me wrong but I'm at that point in my pregnancy where I'm just tired of being pregnant!! I'm only 11 days away from my due date now ( March 07 ) I set up my next appointment for March 03 at 3:15 pm, that is if I even make it to the 3rd! My doctor and I talked about induction today also and we decided that if I dont go into labor on my own by March 06 that she would just induce me that morning and I'm completly fine with that!! I hate to be induced because I think that the pain is so much worse when drugs are involved so thats the downside, but then theres an upside to it too... You know when its gonna happen and you can plan things. I'm hoping that baby Leiland stays put until March 06, that way everything can be well planned... I'm a big planner lol. Well I hope that all of you ladies are doing well in your pregnancies!

Let us know if they decide to induce! I am like you, a big planner, and I just started feeling like I have every last detail tended to so that baby can finally be here. I didn't feel ready before, and my cervix hasn't been making any progress, so maybe my brain will send a signal down there to let her and my uterus know that now it is appropriate for labor to start since everything is taken care of. LOL. Maybe your body will do the same? I don't want to be induced either for the same reasons, but at the same time, I am beyond ready for her to be here in my arms. Good luck! Not too much longer either way: natural vs. induced. Let us know what they decide.

GL - we share the same date! I have an obstetric appooint today - yesterday I had a good run of BH and then I went to sleep and they settled - not much longer until we meet our little ones! So exciting!!

Good luck to you:) I am the same as you. I am just going to try and go naturally and if i don't go by my 40 week appt. she will make an appt for induction! So for now, here I am still pregnant, but I don't really mind!! Keep me posted! Danielle

Good luck! I remember being there and SO glad I'm not anymore. But enjoy what sleep you're getting now b/c it will be a while before you sleep again. =)
