Ok, here we go again!
I started using my OPKs on wednesday (CD11) and today (CD13) I got a positive! It was quite unexpected! Last month I didn't get my positive until CD21. I'm delighted because my body feels a lot more normal than it did last month, maybe I needed one more month after the D&C to fully recover. Anyhow, I'm glad I'm using the OPK otherwise I might have missed the timing completely! So based on this OPK, I'm guessing I'll have a 28 day cycle this month as opposed to the 36 day cycle I had last month.
I'm feeling pretty happy and optimistic at the moment. I don't want to get my hopes up but we have just felt so much more positive this month, it all feels 'right' if you know what I mean. Things weren't good last month after that horrible doctors appointment which basically ripped the scab off our healing wound - not the best thing to put you in the mood for TTC. I know things will happed when the time is right but I sure am hoping for a February baby... We lost our first child in February so it would be such a blessing for a new little bundle to enter our lives one year later. Also, I'm going to be 30 on the 23rd of Feb and would love nothing more than to have a baby to share that with! My hubby's birthday is also in February so what a joyous month it would be!!! Here's hoping!
As I said in my last blog, I'm determined not to test early this time. Although I'm expecting my cycle to last 28 days I'm going to wait for AF until CD36 as that's the longest my cycles ever get. I know I will be so tempted to test but I think it really is best to wait if AF doesn't show up. It's going to be a long few weeks!!!

Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it. Yeah, I need to just stop thinking about it until next week. It's so hard, especially this week because I am on vacation and do not have work to occupy my time. I am going to have to focus my attention on something else until at least Monday or Tuesday! LOL

Hi Janine, just checking in. Are you in your 2WW now? How's it going? I still have about 5-6 days to go before I can test. I was feeling pretty optimistic the past few days because my BBS were really big and sore, but today they don't seem to be as sore, so I am starting to feel sad, like this is not our month. I am still hopeful, but not as much as I was a few days ago. Humpft!
