08-6-2008 - Pregnancy Symptoms

My mood while writing this blog:

At the beginning of this month TTC I decided I would keep track of any symptoms I had during my cycle. The main reason for this was that last month I seemed to have a few symptoms which turned out to be false so I wanted to keep an eye on things. I did find this helpful and I found that writing down my symptoms helped me not think about them so much (does that make sense.. I don't know?!)

21.5	11	Opk –ve (no line), CM= tacky/white/clumpy
22.5	12	Opk –ve (no line), CM= more wet/creamy
23.5	13	Opk +ve (same line), CM=EW/plenty, BD
24.5	14	Opk +ve (darker line), CM=EW, BD
25.5	15	Opk –ve (lighter line), CM= wet/opaque. Brief sharp pain on left side ?OVULATION?, BD (very late)
26.5	16 – 1dpo	CM= less/opaque
27.5	17 – 2dpo	CM= wet/creamy/milky
28.5	18 – 3dpo	CM= white/more sticky, vivid dream last night
29.5	19 – 4dpo	CM= white/sticky, some lower back ache, brief tenderness in left BB, tired, vivid dream last night
30.5	20 – 5dpo	CM = white/creamy but not too much, dull aches in lower abdomen, one sharp pain on rt side, some pain in BBs, tired
31.5	21 – 6dpo	CM= white, creamy, more than yesterday, odd dull ache in lower abdomen. BD
1.6	22 – 7dpo	CM= quite dry, some white+ tacky. Having the odd twinge/ache in my lower abdomen, bbs and back, also seem to have a hard bloated belly. Headache at bedtime
2.6	23 – 8dpo	CM = more than yesterday – creamy and slippery. A sharp pain in lower abdomen. Headache upon waking, spots (not uncommon prior to AF), quite hungry and tired. Struggled to get to sleep – very hungry in bed (rumbling tummy!!).
3.6	24 – 9dpo	CM = Creamy and some stringy?!, some lower back and abdominal pain. Very mild nausea – not sure if this was just due to hunger though. I’m sooo HUNGRY!! Tearful. Had a 2hr afternoon sleep. Struggled to get to sleep at night, some mild aching in hips. Headache on and off.
4.6	25 – 10dpo	CM = creamy and wet. Still quite tired and very hungry, headache on and off.
5.6	26 – 11dpo	CM = creamy and wet. Tired and hungry still and having headache on and off. Some pain in BBs and abdomen. Thread veins on BBs and 1 darker blue vein (are these new?!?)
6.6	27 – 12dpo	CM = creamy. Tired. Sharp pain in rt side.
7.6	28 – 13dpo	CM = creamy, wet (requiring panty liner), skin is clear when normally I breakout before AF, pain near pubic bone, some aches around abdomen throughout day, bleeding gums this morning & evening when brushing teeth – this is unusual! Headache on and off (mild). Hungry but did not enjoy one of my normally favourite dinners. Tired, in bed by 9.30pm but trouble getting to sleep.
8.6	29 – 14dpo	AF due. Faint Positive HPT!!!!!!! CM = creamy, wet. Pubic bone pain. Tired. Mild nausea but hungry. Not liking foods I normally enjoy.

So the first symptom which really tweaked my interested was the insatiable hunger I began to experience at 8dpo which also marked the start of my difficulties getting to sleep (very unlike me). The bleeding gums and sharp pain near my pubic bone at 13 dpo made me wonder even further! Needless to say I was up at the crack of dawn to pee on my stick this morning!

I hope and pray this time is for keeps...

Some of these syptoms sound like what im haveing. will you do me a fav and look at my last two blogs and tell me what you think. my last period was may 20th so i would only be 3 weeks and i dont want to test bc its so early. if you would do that i would apprecate it. COngrats on the pregnancy and wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy.

Hello, I am also in week 4 going on week 5 and when I read your blogs I was reminded of myself:) My hubby and I have been trying for a bit also and I have been doing the ovulation kits too. I had many of the same symptoms as you about a week or 2 ago. Hungry but not for my usual foods, crampy, sleep deprieved and fun m/s. I am so sorry to hear about your loss a bit ago. Do the dr.s want to see you sooner because of the complications with you last pregnancy? I think Im going to start blogging my pregnancy as well. Its nice to read others stories. TTYl

Really weird but who knows...I am 4 or 5 dpo and I honestly cannot seem to get full. I keep eating!! I am very tired today too. All I have been doing is laying/sitting on the couch ALL day. Is this how you felt at 8dpo? I am sure I am looking too into it since I am only 4 or 5dpo but still....

It is so weird that all women experience early pregnancy symptoms differently. I didn't have any of that. Instead, my nose was very runny, which eventually turned into stuffiness, I am very constipated, which is making me feel bloated, and I have a headache or a lot of the time. My breasts JUST now started to get sore, although they have been getting bigger for about a week now. So weird to me that we all have different symptoms. You just never can tell. Yay for Janine!
