Im an Aunty again! My sister had a baby boy this is her 3rd baby he was born this morning at about 5.45am. This is her 3rd boy, i was really hoping she would have a girl. My parents now have 11 grandsons and only 1 granddaughter (they rarely get to see her).
My sister lives over 6 hours away so i have to wait to see him but my mum is there looking after the other 2 boys she rang me at 8am with the news. He was 8pounds and 15 ounces and 53cms long, she had a hard time in labour since yesterday afternoon and she lost alot of blood but shes ok now. He doesnt have a name yet. Im still in shock as i really thought she would have a girl maybe i was hoping to much.
Im going back to the doctor this morning to have my bp checked and the doc will look ay my sheet to see how its been, its been up and down most of the time the bottom 1 has been under 100 mostly around 90 but its been over a few times and i have had 1 reading where the bottom 1 was only 67 so its up and down. We will review my ultrasound and blood test results also. I will let everyone know how it goes.

that's funny, your family heritage sounds like mine. there have been no girls in my husbands family tree for a long time. we have 3 boys and probably having another and then his brother out of the blue had a girl 1st time, no fair!!! i don't care really, i love my boys, infact i'm so used to boys (i had 2 older brothers and lots of male friends) that i'm not sure i'd know what to do with a girl if i actually had one of my own! i think she'd have no choice but to be a tomboy.
sorry to hear you and your sister are having troubles. beautiful photo, he looks nice and healthy.

YAY! I am the oldest in my family and I started early, but my brothers and sisters are so young still. I think its gonna be forever until Im an aunt :(

Congrats to you and your family. I hope your appointment is fine. Do you find it funny that you are supposed to relax to get a better bp reading, but you're sitting in a dr. office stressing about it? I laugh when the dr. tells me to relax. Anyways, good luck.
