Hi ladies, i had my scan yesterday morning and everything looks good there was nothing abnormal detected and baby is measuring right for 19 weeks. With a estimated weight of 10 ounces. We had the most wonderful lady and she told us everything she was doing and there was a screen above me that i could watch. Unfortunatley being a public hospital you dont get a disc with pics but i paid $5 to have a few printed out so i will have to learn how to use my new scanner to upload them.

Yes we did find out what we are having we didnt need to have her tell us as we could clearly see ourselves we are having a boy. We are both happy and we both had a strong feeling that we were having another boy. Both of the grandmothers are dissappointed as my mum has only 1 granddaughter that she never sees and guys mum has no granddaughters so they were hoping for a girl. I am just so happy that he is healthy and i dont care that its not a girl, its all the pity people try to give me because i have 4 boys (and will soon have 5) that i cant stand, i just want people to be happy for us and not pity us.

We went on to see the doctor and it went smoothly this time and he knew why i was there. He checked my bp and went over the scan results, so now i can see my doctor here every 2 weeks to have my bp checked and if everything goes ok i can continue to see my doc but if i have any problems or they think im to high risk then i have to go back and if im not happy with the care im getting i can go back, i have to stay on the medication until baby is born. I have an appointment for 36 weeks back in toowoomba to review everything and decide where i will have baby. We were very happy with the way it went this time and we were shocked when we were finished at the hospital in just under an hour instead of 4.

Thanks ladies for reading my blog and if you have any suggestions for boys names i would love to hear them.

Congratulations on your little man baby! Every baby is a precious miracle no matter what their sex!!!! Tell them " What if you where a boy instead of a girl and your grandparents said they really wanted a girl, how would they feel? I am happy for you! I'm having my second boy (June 15th) and I have found the most fun bedding and cutest baby boy clothes, and my son is so helpful around the house! I'm pretty glad about having another young man! Congrats again! :-)

Hooray for boys! Congrats. That is so exciting. I know what you mean about the pity thing. I will soon have three girls and people actually are sad and feeling sorry for me. I love it and we will love our child no matter the sex. I am sure you feel the same way. Congrats and I'm glad everything has worked out for you!

Congratulations! Its definitely "not" a pity to be having another boy. I have five brothers and they treasure my mother. All she has to do is appear to want or need something and its taken care of.

congrats, I always wanted a bunch of boys. I thought it would be fun. I guess God knows best right? We don't know what we are having yet, but DH and I are pretty sure we will be having a girl again. It doesn't matter though, as long as it's a happy baby all is well!

Oh a little story for you.... there was a family where the dad worked in a chiller warehouse. They had 11 boys. He then decided to persue his dreams of becoming a chef and they then tried for their 12th baby (why i dont know ha ha) - anyway they got their girl. Professionals say that by working in the chiller he was slowing down the female sperm but then working in a hot kitchen all day made them super wizzy. So if you decide for your sixth... get you partner to sit in a sauna for the 2 weeks running up to trying ha ha

Congratulations on your little boy!! I'm very happy that everything is going well for you and bub. I read somewhere that if you have two kids of the same sex and you try for a third to get one of the other sex, odds are the third baby will be that same sex too. It's just because both partners together produce that sex. If anyone feels 'sorry' for you, it's because they've never had any trouble getting pregnant, never lost a baby, and they don't understand how precious each child is. Anyway, names on my list for boys are... Max, Ben, Aidan, Reid.... Lots of others I like, but they are my favourites. Good luck!

if i get one more person come up to me in the street and say 3 boys you poor thing i feel sorry for you, i'm going to punch them! it makes me mad too. in particular countries we would be considered to be incredibly blessed because they want boys so badly if they know they're having a girl they abort them.
i am so thankful my children are healthy. when i was working i worked in the disability field and i know just how lucky we are. i am so excited for you!!! glad to hear everything is going well. looking at your other boys names (2 of which happen to be on our name list!) i would say connor, reilly?

my family was upset that I was having another boy too.. my third. They said "aww I'm sorry" it made me mad!! I said "don't be sorry be happy that the baby is healthy" some people just speak before they think!
