My mood while writing this blog: tired but ok |
Hello eveyone, well last wednesday i went back to toowoomba for my check up with them and they are happy for me to deliver here. The doctor i saw tested my urine (which nobody has done since the last time i was there, 4 months ago, i told him that and he was very surprised and a little annoyed as i have high bp its something that should be checked every visit) so it came back that i have +1 protein so he ordered a blood test to check my kidney function. I will find out the results at my appointment this wednesday here at the hospital. He also rang the hospital here and spoke with the doc i have been seeing and told her about the urine and blood test and letting her know that he wasnt very impressed that it hasnt been checked before especially seeing that it was +1.
My blood pressure has been up again so im keeping a close check on it at home and watching out for any swelling or other symptoms. We did some shopping while in toowoomba and brought alot of things for the baby and we spent the weekend getting everything ready and i still have to finish packing my hospital bag and a few other things but i will get there slowly.
Sometimes i think omg i cant believe its almost over and how fast the weeks are going then i think im so tired and getting so uncomfortable i wish i was at the end but then i realise just how fast it goes and im trying to enjoy my last few weeks and i know that it will be over very soon. Anyway thanks for reading.

Sunday, 9 Aug Hiya,Just a bit of reassurance. I have had +1 protein since I was 28 weeks and they are not concerned. They said these things only become a worry if you reach +++At my last check I also had +1 Ketones and +++Lucocytes. They have sent the sample off for checking but have said it is very unlikely it is anything to worry about. They said alot of the time it is hard to get a 'GOOD' sample of urine, it only takes the slightest bit of the pot to touch the outer side of your vagina and it can change the results completely as foreign objects get in (even if you are the cleanest person in the world). Im sure you will be fine, keep us postedAll my love mrs.leyva -
