FOR MUM LABOUR

  • Hot Pack
  • Dressing Gown
  • Loose nighty or large t-shirt
  • Warm woolly socks
  • Toiletreis plus showercap, lip cream, aromatherapy (electric / no candles), oil for massage
  • Glucose lollies for extra energy
  • CD player, to set the mood and hopefully help relax
  • Camera
  • List of telephone numbers

FOR MUM STAY

  • Pregnancy records
  • Toiletries
  • 3 packs maternity sanitary pads
  • Comfortable casual loose fitting clothes
  • Night wear inc slippers
  • Nursing bra (at least 2)
  • Nursing pads
  • Eye pads and ear plugs (optional)
  • Large hot / cold pack (not wheat bag)
  • Small amount of cash for newspapers and magazines
  • Camera
  • Glasses / contact lenses
  • Lansinoh (nipple saviour cream)

FOR BABE

  • Digital thermometer
  • Baby clothes, nappy rash cream, mittens, socks and dummies (if using)
  • 2 packets of disposable nappies, if preferred (cloth ones provided @ hospital - if happy to use clothes, also bring pilchers and a packet of snibs)
  • One set of baby clothes for going home (1 singlet, 2 nappies, one outfit, baby wraps)
  • Before going home you MUST have an approved and correctly fitted baby car restraint
