Well, following my spotting at 17 weeks I felt it prudent to start keeping a diary on it so that I can see if there is any kind of pattern - like does the spotting generally occur around the time that I would have had my period?

Around 4 weeks - Light bleeding, only once when wiping and some in toilet (possible implantation bleeding?) Wed 9 April, saw Dr following day although pregnancy tests are negative, he says wait another 3 weeks.

More light bleeding Fri and positive pregnancy test after 4 tests the same day: Friday, 11 April 2008.

6.2 weeks - Had some blood after wiping 30 April. Just one string of really bright red blood and some fainter blood. Only the one time.

8 weeks exactly (12 May) had some bleeding – in panties only, not when wiping. Not a hell of a lot but not just spotting. Not bright red, very period like.

8.2 weeks - 14 May some more blood on wiping (twice). Nothing in the toilet, nothing on knickers. Had intercourse night before, but no after symptoms to cause concern.

17 weeks – 9 July - very light coloured blood only on wiping (once). Nothing in knickers. Had intercourse night before. No pain.

17.2 weeks 11 July – in the morning there was some light brown / red spotting (not loads) in knickers, no pain.

18.1 weeks 17 July - spotting in knickers, no pain.

18.6 weeks 22 July - more spotting only in knickers, no pain.
