18-7-2008 - Results from Dr's Appt.

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!!

So I had my follow-up yesterday at the doctor's office. He was going through my blood results and apparently there was a possibility I could be pregnant. I was completely stunned. After having 2 negative HPT results in June I thought for sure I was not pregnant and just having menstrual problems. He asked that I take a urine sample from my fmu and bring it in first thing in the morning and that I also go and get a HCG serum (quantitative) test done. So I went and got the blood test done as soon as I left the doctor's office. I took a sample of my fmu and brought it in as soon as the doctor's office opened this morning at 8:30. I waited in one of the offices for my results thinking it's probably negative. The doc came in and said congratulations, you're pregnant!! I was so shocked. I have had no pregnancy symptoms. According to my HCG test results I am 5 to 6 weeks along, so very early. I am going to see the doctor again in 1 month.
