i stopped burping when i noticed my baby burping before i had a chance to do it for her. i think she was about 3-4 months.

Now this is different for all babies,and you know if they still feel uncomfortable after a feed then you need to help them burp up that wind.
After 12 weeks I found that my little ones didn't need burping anymore, but every child is different, you will know when she doesn't need it anymore, she will be quite comfortable, and will burp easily on her own.
