| 29-6-2008 - Diabetic stress | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
So, over a week ago, I had my ulttasound at 13 weeks. by the looks of things everything looked normal. The technician took the measurents, and I don't know of anything until I see my doctor, but hopefully all is well. He or she was sucking its thumb, and being lazy for the tech.
It truly is amazing, seeing and knowing there is life inside of you.
Last Tuesday, I had my doctor appointment, with my regular family doctor, as I am still patiently waiting for the high rish obgyn to get back to me. I did my urine check, and there is protien in my urine. My family doctor, wa somewhat worried, although she doesn't know anything a bout high rish pregnancies, and now wants me to do a 24hr testing to check for kidney problems. I went to the endocrinologist, on friday, and he says its normal for protien to come and go, specially after 10 yrs of diabeties, and not too worry. I am also now having bad water retention in my feet.
I am not supposed to worry about this apparently, but how do I not? I am now 15 weeks pregnant, and have had mad fear ever since being pregnant, and now I have protien in my urine, how do I not worry a bout my unborn child? I hope and pray everyday that everything is going good. I pray that nothing bad comes back like abnormal amounts or measurements with my integrated prenatal testing.
Hopefully things start looking on the bright side!
