My mood while writing this blog: worried |
Ok, I've had an terrible itch down there since almost the beginning of my pregnancy. I even wake up in the middle of the night scratching. It's gotten so bad where its open wounds now. What's that from and is that normal? This is sooo embarassing to bring up but when I google it, it's not really telling me nothing. I put some anit-itch cream on it and it suppose to help it heal. It went away for about a week but now its back. Is it because I am discharging a lot? Should I be worried? It's getting on my nerves...I can't hardly wipe cause its so sore. Any suggestions what to do and is it normal? Thank You for reading this and by no means was I trying to gross anybody out..LOL...just worried!! Oh and I have been tested for STD's and stuff (negative)...so thats out of the question. Maybe a yeast infection? And there is no smell to it, just very sore and itchy!!
Hey girls,
Thank You so much for your replies. It is a yeast infection and getting treated. Whew, I feel soooo much better. It's not completely gone yet but calmed down a lot. The doc. actually told me to get athletes foot cream for it...it's cheaper. And it's working! Again, thank you sooo much for ya's inputs :-)

Tuesday, 7 Apr I would check with your doc and have them see if it's a yeast infection. Which is extremely common, but if the open wounds become infected it could turn into a bigger problem. I'm so sorry you have to go through this! I'm crossing my fingers that I don't get this because my legs, feet, boobs and belly all itch like crazy all the time already! I do hoipe this is something simple and doesn't stick to you for too long! barunka05 -
