My mood while writing this blog: SAD |
My hubby started working for a sheriffs department almost 2 years ago. Well, there were no open road spots so they stuck him in the courthouse. I loved the hours...Mon-Fri 8-5 and NO weekends! But then he started disliking the courthouse because he was stuck in superior court most of the time and just same old stuff everyday. He put in a letter of interest to further his experience to work on the road. We talked about it and thought it would be great. 4 days on shift and 4 days off. 12 hour rotating shifts....2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights. So when the baby is born, he can take off 4 days and actually be off for 12 days! YAY, what a great schedule. He started night shift this past friday night. OMG, I don't like the hours. He leaves 5:30 pm gets home 6:30 am and then sleeps til 3:00 pm or so. I don't know how much longer I can handle that. Then in 2 weeks he will start day shift where he'll be leaving 5:30 am and get home 6:30 pm (which is a lil better) Everyone is saying that I will get used to it. I love being around my hubby and it's hard to go to bed at night and him not right beside me. I keep having these crying spells because I want him home! I even try to think of the positive things but I just wanna CRY CRY CRY!! I am so ready for these pregnancy hormones to stop!
