08-10-2009 - Non-Stress Test/ Best Friend

My mood while writing this blog:
Good

Well, I am down to the last 4 weeks and going to the doc every week now. Me having high blood pressure, I have to go to the hospital once a week to get a Non-Stress Test done to see how the baby is doing. I get my last ultrasound next tuesday to see how much fluid she has and to see how shes situated in there...hopefully head down. The way I feel her kick and move, it feels like she's in there sideways LOL. Other than that, everything is great. Doctor wants to induce me on Nov 3rd because my BP been outta wack. And this being my 2nd pregnancy, the baby should be fine coming out 3 days early :-)

I've been very involved in my besties pregnancy (her first pregnancy). We are only 2 weeks apart...shes due Nov 19th. I called her last night to see how she's been doing and what the doctors had said. Come to find out that the baby already weighs 7 lbs and 4 oz and she still has 7 more weeks to go. My bestie is freaking out because she thinks its too soon for her to come out already. Shes going to a specialist today to see if they need to do an emergency c-section or not. Also, the baby doesnt have much fluid around her. Please pray for my bestie and her unborn child! I hope everything turns out alright :-) The way technology is these days, she shouldnt have to worry too much. The baby will be in the NICU for a while but we have some great trained professionals around here in Southeastern North Carolina.

Hope everyone is doing good! Not much longer for us :-) YAY!!!!

Thank You all for responding to my post! My bestie is doing ok as for now. She just has to cut down to 20 hours on her work week, get some rest and drink plenty of fluids. So far she doesnt have to have a c-section. But we never know, things might change. Hope everyone else is doing well. Not much longer :-)

That's so weird- I am due just 1 day before you & my sister-n-law is due 2 weeks after me! She is having her baby early, I think at 37 weeks for some minor complications. I hope the best for your friend!

I will definitley be keeping your friend in my thoguhts and prayers. Anything uncertain when it comes it your child is SOO scary...And glad to hear things are going well for you. sorry to hear about your blood pressure but a few days early sounds good:) I would take that...Nice to hear from you and good luck.

happy to hear good news!!! tell her not too eat too much :)))) at the end last month i was watching what i am eating een i wanted alllooooot o eat, i was easting more healthy.. because iwas scared cesarian ;) and i was worried soo much, bec i didnt know what to wait or excpect, but now, with my second, i can tell u, i wory twice than i did first time! everythng scares me, even if i know its all ok!!! all the best girls, waiting for good news again

yay! you should be fine....I had my daughter 3 weeks early and she was 7lbs 10 oz! and was great so no worries! hope your bestie does ok too! we're down to the final stretchnow!
