19-9-2008 - Roll Over ScaredMy mood while writing this blog:
Scared

Today, September 18, 2008, I went to work. I am now on a reduced scheduled where I work three days a week. I am 30 weeks and 4 days today.

I ate lunch in the lunchroom and when I got up I noticed there was a wet spot on the chair. I also noticed that the night before I woke up a little wet as well. I have been getting period like cramps that I talked to my doctor about and she told me to keep an eye on them and to call her if they got worse.

So after about an hour thinking about whether or not I should call the doc; I finally did. The nurse said I should come out and just rule out my bag leaking. Good news my bag did not break - I was peeing on myself! I know it is gross but I am happy about that. However, my doc checked me and I am dialated to one and 80% effaced.

My doc looked at me and said you are done working, you are going to the hospital to get your first steriod shot and you are keeping your appointment on Saturday with me.

So I went to the hospital and these kids move A LOT! Twin A kept twisting and turning so it was hard to monitor her heartbeat. Twin B is as shy as they get and it was difficult to get his heartbeat. Finally they settled down after their ultrasound and we were able to monitor their heartbeats for 20 mins. Before I could leave the hospital I had to get the steriod shot to boost the twins growth just in case they arrive early. The nurse said, "Roll Over we have one more thing to do before you go home"

I haven't had a shot in my butt in a long time. At first it didn't hurt as bad I heard but then it started to sting. I go back tomorrow for my second shot and come home to relax. Relax? What is that? I have an 11 month old and a six year old and to top that off my husband works nights and sleeps days. He ended staying home with me tonight but I know this is going to be heard to relax and keep my house together.
