| 31-7-2010 - I feel really fat | My mood while writing this blog:bloated! |
Today will be my 10th day of doing the p90x program, and I know its only been a fraction of the time but I feel fatter than ever. The diet that I am supposed to be doing is REDICULOUS! 7- 3oz servings of lean meat, 4 servings of vegetables, 3 servings of dairy, 1 serving of fruit, 1 serving of carbs, 1 serving of a fat (like olive oil), plus 2 snacks. What I'm having a hard time with, is eating all that meat! Its a 6-9oz serving of protein at every meal!! I just can't eat that much in a day. Before starting this I think I would eat maybe 21 oz of meat in a week! Can I also mention that everything good is a carb?! I don't even mean just sweets, but a potato and a slice of bread. I can only have one a day...so I literally end up planning my day around which carb I can eat today. Should I blow it right away on a bowl of cereal in the morning? maybe have a sandwich at lunch? After 10 days of doing the diet and exercising every night for nearly an hour, we finally broke down and bought a scale. you wanna know the really STUPID thing? I havent lost a pound, not even a half a pound. My husband actually gained a pound! haha to him! I have about 45 lbs that I want to lose, and I feel as though it will never happen.
