Well, I had my dreaded colposcopy yesterday. For anyone who might not know what that is, its basically the medical term for what Drs do if you show up as having abnormal cells on a pap smear. They use the speculum to open up the vagina and use a q-tip to put vinegar on your cervix which causes any abnormal cells to show up as white. They then use a high powered scope (with a light, of course) to look at the cervix and examine the tissues. If the dr sees anything to be concerned about they may take a biopsy sample. This is the worst part! Although I swear since being pregnant my cervix/ vagina has been extra sensative and just the act of my dr rubbing some vinegar on my cervix made me want to cry. Thank god, they didnt take any samples...partially because of me being pregnant and the dr said she didnt see anything to be overly concerned about. We'll see how my next pap smear goes at my postpartum checkup... I may be on my third coloposcopy! haha. My next exciting venture will be my appointment on Tuesday...Horray 12 weeks. I can't wait to hear that sweet heartbeat... best sound ever.

I have had 4 of them!! =[ The vinegar burns!!
