08-7-2008 - tryin to be cute!

My mood while writing this blog:

ugh I'm slightly upset ladies! Today I went to get my hair done, my hubby was pampering me and got it done for me for my birthday! It's this weekend and it's really sweet that he's doing so much for me! However, I changed my hair up a bit and when I came home my husband just looked at me and gave me a weird look! My hair is TOTALLY different and he didn't even say a word about it! He was texting me while I was at the salon saying he couldn't wait to see my new look and all this, then I come home and NOTHING! I know my husband, and he hates it :( I don't know what I should do. The color is the only thing I changed, I didn't cut some big amount off or anything. I want to go back to the salon and get it redone but I know we'd get charged again and we really don't have the money to pay for it twice! I was just trying to be prettier and the only thing I could really change was my hair but now I'm afraid he's even more unattracted to me! Oh and to top it all off- I got my first stretch mark today :( ughhh such a bad day!

any advice?

dont change your hair! i bet it looks wonderful, and he just needs to get used to it if its very different. put up a pic of how it looks now.
if you honestly like it, dont change it!

you def. have to put a pic up so we can all see it :) && ashleymarie is right, he fell in love with YOU & not your hair color :) but if you dont like it, then get it changed, tell the lady that you dont like it & ask her if theres anything she can do! it doesnt hurt to ask! The main thing is making yourself happy first & everything else will fall into place!!! GOOd lUCk :)

I did the same thing for the holiday I went to get my hair done and I was in the salon forever and then me and my boyfriend for the first time on the bext day and he has not said anthing about my hair and this was thursday and it's now monday only time he does say anything is when my hair is all over my head and then he says you need to comb you hair. They are justt men but they love us. I'm pretty sure that you look wonderful.

girl!! im TERRIFIED for my husband to see me!!! he hasnt seen me in a month and a half already...it will be 3 months by the time that he does actually see me!!! im sure you are still just as beautiful, put a picture up so we can all tell you how beautiful you are...YOU KNOW WE WILL!!!
it takes time to get used to changes, give him a few days, were all changing so much, im sure its a sensory overload right now!

Getting your hair done is supposed to make YOU feel sexier and prettier!! Did it when you first saw it? Its all about confidence darling, when you feel sexier he sees you as sexier! Don't worry about it and just give him a few days to get used to it. He fell in love with you for your whole package, not the hair color!! And I just got my first few stretch marks on my hips:( Nothing I can say can make that better, because its heartbreaking!! lol... just keep slathering on the cocoa butter and oils. SMILE!
