05-9-2008 - 2 months... OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

oh my stinking goodness!!! by baby is so big. i can barely hold her - my back spasms so badly. i do love her though. she wakes from napping with the biggest grins. when she wants to nurse she looks me right in the eyes and coos. how great is that!? so, at 8 wks she is 13+ lbs. she is in 6mo clothes and so i am buying 9 months just in case. whatever is in my milk is surely packing a punch.

Glad to hear you are doing well!
What a crazy couple of days for us! We ended up admitting Dylan to the ER Tuesday. He has not been able to keep food down and it was getting progressively worse. Eventually he was projectile vomiting everywhere all of the time. It was just awful! So sad to see your baby do that . We just got home last night. Turns out he had something called pyloric stenosis. In short the little muscle at the bottom of the stomach that attaches to the intestines was too thick to let food go through. They had to go in and cut out a larger center to make it normal. It was so scary! What an emotional time is was. I lost it when the took him away to surgery. Anyway, we are home now and he has not thrown up since. Whew! This is quite common in first born boys. I had no idea!
