Yay, we are officially in our 2nd Trimester! I consider 2nd Trimester to be 13w3d since 40/3=13.3. I'm just starting to feel the baby move in there. It's so light and soft, like tiny little 'bonks' from the inside. It's funny how soon you can feel it if you know what to "look" for (and I'm definitely not the type of Mama to be claiming that I feel the baby at like 8 weeks lol...)!
I'll be 20 weeks on my birthday, and I was planning to find out the gender then... but I'm getting antsy! I'll be 18 weeks on mine & Josh's 7 year anniversary so I might do it then instead lol. Hope they're not too strict, I got Xander's done at 20+ weeks so I have a feeling they might make we wait. Boo!
I've got a box coming from my mom next week, all sorts of goodies from the States that I've been craving, presents for Xander and stuff for me & Josh! Josh has never had Kool-Aid so I had my mom throw in a couple packets hahaha~ plus things like cheez-its and Gold Fish crackers that I've wanted so badly! She actually put a lot of goodies into this box! Dark chocolate almond bars, Mothers frosted animal cookies, Quaker Fruity oatmeal, Orange chicken sauce mix, Hidden Valley ranch dressing packets, Franks Buffalo sauce, Raspberry Walnut Vinagrette...
Omgosh I'm so excited. All these foods I took for granted my whole life, I've had to go years without since moving to New Zealand and being pregnant just makes it unbearable (unfortunately she can't ship me Chipotle). She likes to slip in lots of random stuff too like lotions and makeup (my face makeup is 37.50 here.... 7 bucks in the states rofl) so I'm SUPER excited. Should be a great box! (gosh you can tell I'm pregnant, can't you? FEEEEED MEEEEEE)
Xander is going to be SOOOOOOOO happy when he sees the presents she got him! She got a bunch of Timmy Time toys for him (that's the preschool show he's allowed to watch, he LOVES it) plus a dvd which will be great because I'll have something to let him watch in the morning when he decides to wake up at the crack of dawn (like has has a lot lately!!) when I'm not ready to get out of bed yet! Yay!
I've got a Midwife appointment next week, we should be able to hear the heartbeat (I'll be 14 weeks exactly) I'm sooooo looking forward to it. She'll probably be surprised cuz gosh I'm HUGE now, the lower portion of my abdomen sticks out like crazy and feels so firm! I have to keep reminding myself that it was less than a year between my pregnancies so it shouldn't be that surprising that my uterus is already sticking out so far! We've had 3 ultrasounds so far so I'm pretty confidant that it's not twins lol (as cool as that'd be, I'm not sure we're ready for 3 under 2 haha)
