It's a GIRL, I can't believe it! I wanted a girl so bad, I'm so incredibly happy and excited! I was so convinced it was a boy because I didn't want to get my girly-girl hopes up, but this pregnancy just felt SO different from Xander's! I've been sicker, I've actually had strong cravings, I sleep like the dead, no heartburn... just different! We'd have been happy either way, of course-- but I'm so excited for pink stuff and tea parties and hair bows!! Alexander is going to be such a great big brother, I can't wait for them to meet! She (hehe 'she'!!) was so active for the Ultrasound, it was cracking the Ultrasound tech up! She was wiggling and kicking and refusing to uncross her legs so the tech finished the rest of the anatomy scan (everything looks great, phew!) and she still wouldn't budge so I ran to the toilet and peed and came back and she had her toes up to her ears, spread for us all to see like "Oh ALRIGHT take a look, jeez!!" It was so funny. She kicked SOOOO much during the scan. When she finally uncrossed her legs and I saw those 3 lines, I knew exactly what it meant and as soon as the tech confirmed that she was a girl, I bursted into tears! The tech was so nice and said she was so happy for us that she had goosebumps and gave me tissues. This has been such a great birthday, what more could I ask for? A happy, healthy kicking baby that just happens to have girly bits!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!
