28-4-2008 - Babies 2 month shots

My mood while writing this blog: tired

This is the 3rd time Ive tried to write this update and wouldnt you know it every time it gets deleted! I think I finally ran out of space on my page so I had to revert to a BLOG. LOL

The babies got their 2 month shots this past friday. We had the public health nurse come to the house to give them to them that way I could nurse why they got them done and it wouldnt seem so tramatic. I couldnt imagine holding my child down on a table while someone caused them pain. It was bad enough for them to get the shots while I was nursing. Macey cried so hard she stopped breathing and the nurse had to blow in her face to get her to breathe again!

Everett weighs 10pounds14oz now and Macey weighs 8pounds9oz. He has already double his birthweight and she not too far behind. When they had their well baby check at the doctors offfice she still heard Macey's heart murmer so Macey is going to see a pediatric cardiologist in a few weeks just to make sure all is well. The doc said shes still gaining well but since shes not gaining as vigirously as her brother she wants to make sure its ok.

The babies are doing great with sleep. Bedtime is between 830-930 and they usually sleep till 2 or 3am. Then they nurse and go back to sleep till 6 or 7. I hope they keep it up. THey are still sleeping in our room in the co-sleeper but I think they may be moving to their room when they hit the 3 month mark...

Everett has learned to roll over from belly to back :) Macey is awesome at following me around the room with her eyes. They are growing so fast! where is the time going?

Hi, they look beautiful. How are you holding up? Are you nursing them at the same time? I have a twin nursing pillow, but I find nursing them together to be quite difficult, so, I nurse one at a time. My boys are now 9lbs and almost 10lbs and are doing great. Keep up the good work and keep me posted.

they look wonderful! my lil ones goes to the pediatric cardiologist as well.. as long as she is gaining weight,, she ll be great!
