11-10-2008 - What a frickin day...... **UPDATED**

My mood while writing this blog: Feeling bad for my little dude!!

What a frickin day.......

Woke up late today, Called a friend and while matt was getting ready for work and about to walk out of the door.......WACK!!! Gabe about took him self out of comission. He tripped on the rug and messed him self up on the entertainment center. He had a 1 an a 1/2 to 2 inch gash on his forehead!! The blood was not that bad like I thought it would be but it was a narly gash!! Luckly matt was still home when it happened or I would have ended up in the ER with three kids and big and pregnant lol!! Would not have been a blast at all. Matt was there and reacted before I could. Thank God!! He had to call Nate and tell him that he had to take Gabe to the ER... Then after he talked to Nate he went straight to the ER!!! He was in such a hurry to get Gabe there that he took off with only Gabe and a clean T-shirt to stop the blood. He didnt even grab a bottle!! They were there for about 2 hours and then I called to see what was going on. I talked to matt and he said that they made sure that he did not have any head injurys then gave him 5 stiches to close his forehead gash. Matt said that he was freaking the whole time, but i would have to if I was him!! Poor little dude!! They came home about a half an hour after I talked to him. All and all hes a solder!! He will be alright!!! Thank God!!

UPDATED

On the 15th (Oct, 2008) we took Gabe to get his stiches out (all five) they said that he was healing well and they were suprised that his head looked that good. On top of that he got 5 vac (shots) to catch him up and make him more upto date... Poor Guy had alot that day. They also gave him a Floride tooth treatment (which I had never hurd of that before)!! So they held him down for like 15 or 20 mins and of course I had to help!! :( I am just glad that hes okay!!
