17-9-2008 - 35 weeks now

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well, time does pass and now I'm 35 weeks. Still over a month to go! Baby is down in my cervix and at times it really hurts. The BHs are still strong but my midwife says that doesn't mean she'll come early. First baby was 4 days od and 2nd baby was due date. But this one is a girl....

Husband is away taking an outdoor camp this week. So I asked mum to come up from another city (6 hours away) to help with the mornings as I'm supposed to lecture from 8 am - 10 am a couple of times a week. But last night I didn't sleep a wink (head cold, sore throat....) and so for the first time ever I cancelled a lecture due to illness. I'm nervous about doing that as my due date is 22 Oct and the last lecture is 23 Oct so I was "saving up" any spare lectures to the end in case I needed to cancel. But I decided to make myself the priority and I needed an easy morning after last night - and to sleep.

My boys are doing well. The eldest (6) has transformed since we started him on ADHD medication and as a result the entire family is significantly less stressed. They are both excited about baby Aria and the baby's room is nearly done.

I'm ready and waiting....
