Went in for my first ultrasound today as my periods have been irregular since November 2007, so the doctor couldn't be positive of how far a long I am. Turns out I'm right around 5 weeks pregnant which means I'll be having a little Christmas baby!

Went in for my first ultrasound today as my periods have been irregular since November 2007, so the doctor couldn't be positive of how far a long I am. Turns out I'm right around 5 weeks pregnant which means I'll be having a little Christmas baby!
The ultrasound technician could have been a little nicer, she made the experience seem awful. First off she wouldn't turn the screen so I could see and then when I asked if there was a chance I could have a photo (since I couldn't see the screen and she wouldn't allow my boyfriend in the room with me), she told me that there wasn't anything to see and I had no need for a photo so early on.
I see my doctor again in two weeks and will probably be booked for another ultrasound around then as well. Hopefully, I'll be able to see the screen and have a picture next time.
