25-9-2008 - Its almost time

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Well tomorrow ( friday) is my last day at work. I am taking a weeks annual leave and then immediately after that my maternity leave starts. I cant wait. We are going away to a lovely part of South Africa called Mpumalanga province. The place we are going to is a lodge near the Kruger national park. Its a wonderful place and well worth a visit from anyone accross the world.

I will be away from work for 6 months. My company allows us to take 4 months paid maternity leave and then after that an additional 2 months unpaid. We are truely spoilt but I have to add that I sign a contract stating that I wont leave the company for a year after I return from maternity leave or I pay them back for that salary.

I cant wait. It is spring here and we are already having tempratures that are really hot. My feet are 2 swollen blobs at the moment. At work the airconditioners are not really that effective where I sit so I suffer. But I do have a lovely office and I sit and look outside the whole day. We are spoilt with a spectacular garden around our premises. So what can I say. I look forward to home time. Baby's room is nearly done but I still need to sort things the way I like it.
