13-6-2008 - 32 Weeks And Counting Down

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

OK well i'm 32 weeks now and counting down, right now I feel like time is dragging and I can't wait to meet our little man. I'm really missing Andell now and can't wait for him to reach the UK, hopefully he'll be here by the first week of next month.

Been to the midwife this week and she's happy with everything, I measure 32 like I should, blood pressure fine, baby head down with his little back to the left hand side and this week it's real movements inside my tummy, a bit like ripples, no tidal waves! as he moves around, how exciting is that.

Got my half day antenatal next week, makes me laugh they put me on a computer course for a week or more yet the goverment think you can learn all about having a baby and what to do with it when it arrives in half a day!! struth! I give up..... just as well I have a great partner, wonderful Mum & sister and good friends.

Started my hypnobirthing course to help me relax, just 5 sessions and as i'm used to being so 'full on' with my job decided to try and learn how to really chill out so that hopefully I don't fight my body and natural instincts when baby decided to come and meet us!

Just started getting some good backache and finding it more difficult to get comfortable to sleep the last couple of weeks, read somewhere it's the ligaments at the bottom of the back that soften up ready to give birth at this stage and that's why i've got some good backache! guess it's all for a good course.

Brilliant weather here in the UK the last week or so, it makes such a nice change to be out in the garden and get up to the sun! i'm missing Tobago.... there good weather is God given daily.

Got a craving for wine gums still and cherries and pineapple this week they change all the time.

Feeling heavier now probably due to the good weather we've had and have noticed for the first time a little bit of swelling in my left ankle occasionally hopefully this wont get any worse as still 8 weeks to go if due date is right.
