Hi All
Well as most of you know Kara has been plagued by ear infections for the past year which have steadily got worse over the past 6 months :(
Over the past year Kara has had 2 perforated eardrums(left ear) and a massive total of 17 ear infections!
We seen an ENT specialist on dec 23rd 2009 and she Advised that over the next 3 months we monitior how many infections Kara has, she took and in fection on the 4th jan 2010 then another on the 23rd jan then another on the 3rd feb, i called them up and explained the meds werent working and could the see her again before her appt in march, they agreed and she was given another appt for the 10.2.10
10.2.10... Not long home from the hospital, we saw another ENT specialist today Mr Chin, he was lovely, very nice Doctor/patient manner!!!!
SO THE OUTCOME IS:::....Kara has to have Grommets inserted and her Adenoids removed! She had a hearing check when we were there and theres alot of fluid in both her ears, which is affecting her hearing and that has reduced her hearing in both ears :(
BUT YAY were going to get it fixed soon, now my poor baby will have a better quality of life :) :)

So pleased you got the outcome we all wished for...my eldest son was exactly the same as Kara and the difference was amazing! He also had/has sight problems so life was difficult for him with hearing problems aswell...it's awful watching our children suffer x
