My mood while writing this blog: so so

3rd December 2007:

I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant today and I really couldnt be more happy. You can actually tell i'm pregnant now yay! I seem to have also got some energy back which is really good as its nearing xmas and got a few parties to go to hehe. I see my Midwife Next week for the 16 week check up. I keep feeling little flutters in my belly when the baby moves. more so at night however i dont think i have felt the baby kick yet. Really can't wait for that day!.....

6th December 2007:

I finally got to sleep in my own bed last night. I've been at My bf's for the past week due to having some alterations in my room. Still not complete but at least i can sleep in it for now. Was really wierd to be back in my own bed, I went to bed about 11pm, Last time i actually remember looking at the clock it was just gone Midnight, I can never get to sleep straight away no matter how tired i am. I woke up about 3.30am as I was really thirtsy and also needed the toilet really bad. Again took me ages to get back to sleep. I kept feeling little flutters everytime I tried to get comfy. I then woke up at about 8am again and this time could not get back to sleep even though i still felt really tired. I got up and had some breakfast and then sat watchin baby programmes on tv and managed to fall asleep again for about an hour. My energy was starting to come back as soon as i hit 14 weeks but its seems to have gone again and all I wanna do is sleep.

10th December 2007

Just been to the Midwife today and all my bloods from my 1st appointment have come back normal. Finally found out my blood group! Had a blood test for Spina Bifada and Down Synderome will get that result back in a week. Dont now see the midwife untill 25 weeks. Seems like ages away. I have now also had yet another due date. 30th May now is what they are going by. 2 weeks before my birthday and 9 days after my bf's. I'm gonna stick with the original one of 24th May. As far as i'm concerened baby will come when its ready to. Just got to wait now for my next scan on 10th Jan.

3rd January 2008

Not been on here for a while, been really busy over the xmas period so haven't been able to update. I'm now living with my bf at his parents house. Been havin some famil problems at home so we decided it was best i moved to a less stressed home. I'm actually enjoying it and we are gonna look for somwhere to rent hopefully before babys born. Also i had an uncle die over xmas so its not been particularly a gd one it was wierd actually cos my grandad died 7 yrs ago when my mum was pregnant with my brother and now my grandads brother in law has died while i'm pregnant. It was expected though as he was ill for a while before he died as had cancer. I go to his funeral tomorrow. But hey its a new yr and new start and all that. I'm now 19 weeks pregnant. I go for my nxt u/s a week today. All my bloods for downs and spina came back normal. Infact the downs one came back better than normal which was excellent. I can't believe how fast the pregnancy is going an that i'm almost halfway thru now. Baby is alot more active. i have felt strong kicks. it particularly like kickin me down below lol. Keeps me awake alot at night so I try n sleep durin the day at some point. My BF was cugglin me in bed ther other night and he felt the baby kick 2. He thought it was really wierd lol.

10th January 2008

I went to the hospital today for my 20 week u/s scan with my boyfriend and my mum. Baby was being really stubborn and wouldnt move. It likes lying on its belly hehe. I ended up being there about 3 hours. When the sonographer tried to look at babys heart baby decided ut wasn't going to play ball and put it's arm over it's chest. It also kept corssing its legs which made us all laugh. Anyway finally after about 4 attempts, 2 sonographers and me walking around alot and jiggin about the sonographer managed to check everything and baby is fine. I was also told that they were 95% sure I'm having a boy. His name will be Joshua Andrew. I have also been given a definate due date now of the 30th May which is really wierd as my mum had my lil brother 6 and half yrs ago and he was due on the exact same date.

I also had anthor bit of gd news today. My friend who was due in two weeks had a little girl this morning called jasmine. I've already been sent a pciture and she is gorgeous has a beautifull head of thick black hair. She was born at 1.39am and weighed 6lb 6oz.

17th - 20th January 2008

I'm so down at the moment. I've split with my boyfriend as we've been havin problems ever since i moved in with him just before christmas n have decided we are better off apart. i didnt really want my baby to have seprated parents but i feel in the long run he will be happier and so will I. I wanna give my child the best start possible and if we stayed together it will just be bought into and unhappy family and will probally do more harm than good. I'm now just trying to face the fact that i'm gonna be a single parent. I'm going to do my best though and I have a whole network of support from close friends and family.

5th Februaury 2008

Sorry i haven't been updatin in a while I've had that much go off woth with the break up between me n baby's father and just feelin really low i just couldnt face updating. I'm feeelin a bit better now. I've suffered from a really bad cold but it's slowly easing off. Me and baby's Daddy are back on talkin terms i've spent the past 2 days with him so hopefully we will get sorted. not goin to rush into it. Was really excited the other day as my auntie has knitted baby 2 sleep suits 1 in white and 1 in blue and also 3 cardigans 1 in white n 2 in blue and they are so cute. Also feelin baby kick alot more now. I still have this weird feeling tho that i'm having a girl not a boy??? I'm considering havin a 4d scan just to i know for sure wot it is hehe, Just gotta save up the money now.

Yay I booked my 4d scan today for next friday the 15th feb, I really cant wait to see my lil baby again! and this time in more detail Just to make sure he is a he n not a she lol. Wahoooo! I've also decided to take up knittin in my spare time hehe, I'm not to bad at it at the moment. i will get better tho.

I went for my 4d scan today and it was amazing, Got a dvd of baby and loads of pics. He was well behaved today as he was sleepin mainly. Gave out a big yawn bless him. Andy came with me aswell and we are now back together so i am happy again i believe it will work this time as we have talked things thru fully.

25th February 2008

I went to my midwife today for a check up. I'm measurin at 33 wks allthough im actually only 26+3 wks. Baby has gone on a growth spurt. She is goin to keep an eye on me over the next few weeks if i'm still like this whe i go for next check up she will be ringing the hospital to make them aware, she says i could end up givin birth to a 12 - 13lb baby. scarey stuff!! Baby is very active at the moment aswell. Not stop movin most of today n makes me feel sick at times when he moves. My next midwife appointment is on st patricks day it shudda been in 2 weeks but shes on holiday! alright for some lol.

6th March 2008

Well i'll be 28 weeks tomorrrow. Can't believe how fast its goin. Feelin pretty low at the moment as i'm havin alot of problems at home again. My 15yr old brother is has a really bad temper and is violent and i'm scared of bein round him. He hates not gettin his own way and when he doesnt he flips, he hit me just before xmas so i moved out to my bf's however me and my bf went thru a really bad patch after that and split up so i ended up movin back home things were ok for a while but now everything has gone back to square one again i never 4t i'd say this but i hate my so called brother so much. He may only be 15 but he's already over 6ft tall. weigh taller than me. My step dad isn't much better either. He's a control freak and also has violent streaks especially when he's been drinkin. He degrades my mum so much and he also has goes at me if one thing isnt done or over silly things. Example. He emptied the bathroom bin the other day n cos i put one thing in it afterwards he had a rite go at me. i was like ffs its a bin thats wot bins are for! Yet my brother flips off on one cos my mum said he cant go out as he has a bad toe and has been told to rest it n he says nothin?? I feel like the black sheep of the family at the minute. My mum keeps sayin she wants a divorce from my step dad yet she sticks up for him all the time. My step dad also went to hit me yesterday aswell all cos me n my brother woke him up arguing when he'd been on nights. He was gettin up anyway to look after my other younger brother as i was goin out. I dont feel safe at home at the minute but i dont know wot else to do. i'm on the local council house list for a house but that could take ages. I dont wanna bring my baby up in that enviroment tho :-( i wish things were more simple. To top it all off my Grandma and Grandad who i'm really close to are emigratin to spain next week so we're havin a farewell party and also its my grandads 65th birthday on sat aswell so we celebratin that at party. I really dont wanna go cos i know that my step dad will be drinkin. I have to tho cos its for my grandma n grandad. I just don't know wot to do..........

11th March 2008

Well I went to the party on saturday and it went better than i thought it would. I tried to avoid my step dad most of the nite i was there for my grandma and grandad not him. I didnt cry at the party i stopped myself from cryin. My grandma and Grandad are comin to my mums house tomorrow and will be stoppin untill saturday when they go to a friends and then Fly to spain on sunday. I was sortin out one of my cupboards at home yesterday and its amazin how much stuff i've collected over the yrs. Found some things that i can seel to try and get a bit of money. It's been tight since i've been preg n i've had to rely on my bf alot as i've not been able to work :-( due to earlier complications. Cant wait to start earnin my own money again. Feel a bit crappy today i think i did too much yesterday tbh. My bf is really excited and cant wait for baby to arrive. Keeps asking me if he's finished cooking yet haha! Baby is very active especially when i've had lemonade lol. Think im gonna have to keep him off that when hes older! i cant really figure out wot position hes lyin in at the moment. Its wierd sometimes hes really down low and when he's like that i get really bad braxton hicks. Other times hes sorta lying across my belly n jabs me in each of my sides n then other times hes really high n kicks my ribs to bits lol. I'm growin everyday aswell now even my bf is noticin. its kinda worryhin me tho after wot MW said at my last apt anyhow i see her again on the 17th so can see wot progress he's made then.

18th March 2008

Went to the midwife yesterday everythin is ok with baby. His growth has slowed down now. My FH is 34cm which is still slightly ahead but means i have only grown 1cm in 3 weeks which midwife says is gd and nothin really to worry about. There was no sugar or protein in my urine either. Finally heard the baby's heart beat but we have to ask as the midwife says measutrin baby's heart beat doesnt tell them anythin about how the baby is doin??? Doesnt really make sense to me but anyway. Had my Blood taken again which i hate lol. Baby is also head down which is gd and actually explains while i've been feelin baby's kicks up high. I see her again in 3 weeks then i see her every 2 weeks after that, Cant believe i have only nearly 10 weeks left!! Also went out yesterday celebrating St Patricks Day yesterday round town with my BF and some of his family. Was really nice allthough after about 6 hrs i was eally tired and had to come home. Woke up this morning achin allover so have just been resting today.

4th April 2008

Week 32 today!! only 8 or so more weeks to go!! I'm really starting to feel it now. Especially with my sleepin pattern. 3 nights this week i've gone to bed at 11pm and woke up at 2am then not managed to get back to sleep untill gone 6am which means when i eventually do wake back up again i'm ratty and mardy and poor Andy puts up with it all :-( I really do feel sorry for him at times. He's been such a star through this. I have Midwife again on Monday and then i see her every two weeks again after that untill my lil bundle of joy arrives. OOOOH really cant wait now :D

7TH April 2008

Well i went to the midwife today all my blood from last time came back great. Only trouble is baby has had another growth spurt and is now measurin 38 weeks!! Cos of this i've got to go to hospital tomorrow and have another U/S scan to try and find out why he is measurin so big. Will be nice to see baby again but i really hope its nothing to worry about. Will also be having a Glucose Tolernce Test to check for Gestational Diabetes. Allthough my bloods are fine and there was no sugar found in my urine they stil have to rule it out. Aparrently unlike my American buddies GTT is not offered routinely in england. its just if the preggo mummy has got some symptoms of GD. At the rate baby is growing i could be on for a 12 - 14lb baby and its my 1st aswell aaaaaaahhhhh!!! Will update tomorrow....

Went for U/S today everything is fine with baby. He weighs around 5lb 6oz so he is big but they say its still within the norm. So relieved allthough just making me even more scared about givin birth now haha.
