06-5-2008 - Midwife Check up 36+4 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Dissapointed

Well I went to the midwife today. Quite disappointed really, last time i went to see her 2 weeks ago baby was fully engaged, this time he's only 3/5ths engaged so has somehow managed to creep back up. He seems to be going backwards ???? Midwife said to me not to expect this baby to come early with the way things are going he will more than likely be late :-( I sooooo cant wait to meet him now. I really am fed up of being pregnant. Last week i was having a few signs that he could be on the way but now its back to the waiting game. 1 good thing i did find out today though is that he is no longer measuring 5-6 weeks ahead, My FH is still 39 weeks which is what i measured at the last appt. So he is now only 2 n half weeks ahead which is pretty normal and he may not be as big as they 1st thought now aswell. I think he will be around the 8.5lb mark which is a reasonable size.

Anyway i'm off out for a meal later with my bf's family as its his mum's 50th birthday today. It should be nice :D
