07-4-2008 - Midwife Appt. April 7th

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!

So today was my second midwife appointment! I'm exactly 11 weeks pregnant at this point!

I have lost about 7 pounds total due to morning sickness. However, my midwife says that Baby at this point is acting like a parasite and it's getting what it needs!!

My blood pressure was great!

We got to hear the heart beating!! It was at 160 beats per minute!!! Baby kept jumping out of the way so it was hard to hear it for very long!!

I'm only measuring 8 weeks by the fundal height but that's because my uterus is tipped so far backwards!

So everything looks great and baby is holding on good! It's a strong baby and we're so excited to have made it this far!! My next appt. is in 6 weeks on the 19th of April when I'll be 17 weeks! We'll set up an ultrasound for a week or so after that (which I'm bummed about cause I would really love to see this little one moving).

We're not going to find out the sex of this baby until it's born so the next appt. will only go over measurements, and such!!

My morning sickness has gotten quite a bit better and I'm glad I don't have to worry about gaining too much weight since I've lost so much already!!!
