25-8-2008 - Finally.....

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

I just got home from my Midwife appointment and I couldn't be happier!!! The midwife I saw was new to my list of Midwives!! She actually seemed to care and was genuinely concerned about the progress my body has been making....already!!!

I'm currently measuring (according to her fingers) 1 cm. But that is still softer and more dilated than she'd like to see. Baby's heart rate was good (I forgot to ask exactly what it was at)! I'm measuring right on for 31 weeks!!

She wants me to come back in every week....which I'm happy about since it'll make this pregnancy go by that much faster! Plus, this was we can catch any changes quickly!

She's got me taking trubuteline via pill form to keep my contractions down. She said that since I already lost my mucous plug chances are my membranes are going to rupture (water break) within the next few weeks. But we just need to make it another 4 weeks and then Jacobi should be able to come home with us!!

So, all in all it was a great appointment!!!
