| 30-9-2008 - Sheer Frustration.... |  My mood while writing this blog:Pissed |
So, on Friday my water broke. It was quite obvious as it soaked through my pants. I went into L&D to get everything started. I have GBS and knew I needed antibiotics. Well, we got there and they did all their little tests to determine whether my water had really broken or not. They decided that it was only a tear in my amniotic sac and that unless it ripped open further on it's own they weren't going to do anything.
So, yesterday evening, after nothing happening, they sent me home. No antibiotics, no ultrasounds, nothing. I'm pissed because I'm worried something is going to happen to my baby now. Even with a tear there's still the risk of infection. Ugh, I'm so frustrated.
So, here I sit at home praying that nothing happens infection wise. I'm seriously praying that my water fully breaks or I start having regular contractions SOON!!! If anything happens I am fully prepared to SUE the stupid hospital and dumb as* midwives.

omg please let me know what happend- I also tested postive and I would freak if that happend to me- make sure you let me know everything worked out- keeping my fingers crossed for you

Oh my gosh, I thought you would be home by now with your baby in your hands. I thought for sure that was it because your water had broken. I so feel your frustration, I would have been highly upset too! At this moment, you are still carrying your baby, so I guess it is in his interest to not stress about it. I hope you don't get an infection and things go somewhat smoother from here on out. Good luck!

OMGosh, I am so sorry. How terrible, Are you feeling ok? Maybe you can go for a long walk and try to induce... Do you have an "Ikea" out there? That's a huge store with no exits, so that could help! Man, Joy, I'm really sorry. I'll keep praying and hoping the best for you and little Jacob.

Oh god I can only imagine how frustrating that would be! I cant believe they didnt give you an ultrasound. i know you are probably soooo not in the mood but maybe sex would help to bring things on?? I wish you the best.
