| 20-1-2009 - What's THIS all about? |  My mood while writing this blog:out of my mind |
Okay, so Nicholas has been an awesome sleeper for me. From the time he was 6 weeks old he slept throug the night and has taken regular naps. you could nearly set the clock by his sleep habits........UNTIL last Wednesday. Suddenly when it is time for bed, he screams bloody murder when you put him in his crib. I've tried all of the tricks and the only way I can get him to go to sleep is to hold him....either in the rocking chair or in my bed. He sleeps for only about 4 hours & then is awake again. If I try to put him into his bed when he falls asleep, he wakes up and cries some more. I am exhausted and don't know what to do. I am working many many hours of overtime at work right now and I just need some sleep or I am going to go nuts!!!
Any suggestions, ladies??

My kids did the same thing at 6 months old. They slept through the night for a few months before. Turns out they were cutting teeth at the time. Hope he finds some comfort soon as well as your self.

I don't know! But I'm going through the same thing! My five month old used to sleep through the night but now he's refusing to be put down in his crib, he has to be in our bed or fall asleep in somebody's arms otherwise he screams. When he wakes up in the middle of the night, he starts yelling, I guess becuase he realizes he's in his bed rather than being held. It's really getting to me as I'm not getting any sleep! Sorry I have no advice but I'm happy to know we're not the only ones!

My best friend had this issue with her 18 month old and the doctor said it could be from her cutting teeth. Do you think that could be it?
