14-2-2009 - Sweet Valentine's Day present

My mood while writing this blog:
Very Happy

Dan "did me right" this morning. As most of you know, my older kids fried my computer last July by surfing porn sites. I have not had a computer at home since then. My photos are all still on the old Hard drive and I don't know if I can ever retrieve them, BUT as I was getting ready to leave for work this morning, Dan brought in this big box from his car. He says "Here's your Valentine present........A NEW COMPUTER!!!! It isn't as fancy and doesn't have the bells & whistles that my old one had, but STILL...he bought me a computer!!!! I gave him the biggest hug I have ever given him. I know it is not romantic, but he's never been the romantic type. He is very practical and for him to do this for me means SO MUCH! I just looked at him and said "You SO LOVE ME" LOL. I am FLAT BROKE so I barely spent anything on him (Less than $20) I bought him some of his favorite cheese that we have a VERY hard time finding. If any of you can find it, it is really good....Blueberry Stilton.....YUM! He was SO happy!

Anyhow, I started work at 6:30 this morning and will be here until about 4pm, but when I get home we are going to just hang together as a family. We are making Lasagna for dinner & I am going to stop and get some Cheese Popcorn at Candy Land in St. Paul, as well as a movie for us to watch together. It will be a nice relaxing night "in" with the family

oh how sweet of him!! Hopefully this means lots of pictures to come of your little man. I know how relaxing it is to be alone for a bit to come on and surf the web. I will have to see if I can find that cheese you talked about. I watch Take Home Chef all the time!!! Good looking host and food. He always uses such interesting cheeses and I am always in the mood to try new things. Enjoy the lasagna, yummy!! Hope you have a wonderful day with your hubby. Hope you gave your kids who fried you last computer a kick in the butt lol but most of all I hope you get all your photos back. I think if you take it to a computer technican they might be able to salvage some, hopefully all of them. Take care:)
