15-7-2009 - I have miscarried

I told you about the clot that found yesterday, well I finally told my husband and we went to hospital again today and I told her everything about what the Dr. said and about what I was going through, so she hooked me up and said that she couldn't find any fetal movement of proof that there was a fetus still present, so the clot I saw had to be where the fetus had passed through me, lucky I ended up taking a picture with my BlackBerry just in case and I showed it to her, she said that she was certain that it was indeed the fetus, but I need to do a D&C just be on the safe side.
I cant say that I am happy right now, because one of my own is no longer here, but I feel a bit of relief because I wasn't ready for another baby just yet. I still cant believe I had a child die inside of me. My husband is taking it horribly. It almost feel like somebody we have known for years and years has died. It hurts and I never imagined I would have gone through this.

I'm so so sorry for your loss... people never really understand that no matter how far along you are losing a baby is losing a baby. Stay strong momma and focus all that love on your little girl and hubby.

Im so sorry to hear the news. Everything happens for a reason i guess. Really take care of yourself in the next few weeks. I wouldent worry about having a d&c, ive never had one after all my misscarrages as i just passed everything naturally, all i had to do was have an ultra sound after id stopped bleeding to make sure everything had come away, and it sounds like you shouldent need one ether from what youve said. I know what its like to lose a baby, and yeah it breakes your heart for a while :( Ceep your chin up, things will get back to normal soon. Thinking about you, Mel *big hug*

I'm sorry for your loss. I honestly wouldn't do a d & c if you have already passed the fetus. Your body is already taking care of it by itself. No need for a surgical prodecure
