30-7-2009 - We finally came up with a name for the baby we lost

My mood while writing this blog:
a feeling of closure

So before the miscarriage, I was telling you all that Ken wanted the baby to have a heaveier Hawaiin influenced name and I told him that even though we miscarried, I still wanted to give the little baby a name. In my heart I felt like I was carrying a little boy, but since we cant be too sure, we came up a unisex name and the story behind it..Well first the name is Akahi(ah KAH hee) Kelani (ke LA nee)

Akahi means for the first time and never before and Kelani means the Heavens. For the time I was in pain, although of physical pain, it was moreso emotional. How could God give me a gift and then take it away. Nefore before have I felt so much hurt and so mch pain at that time. Even the hurt I am going through right now, doenst amount to what I was felt at that time. Even though I wasnt elated about carrying another child, I wasnt expecting for it to be taken away from me in such nature. The middle name Kelani means the Heavens and simply because that is were our angel is resting eternally.
