We got the Angelcare one I think its called? With the motion sensor pad..it was 80 bux..I don't think it's necessary but I guess first time mommy here is paranoid hahha

I have always used the 20.00 fisher price ones and my only complaint is I cant talk on my cordless sitting next to the portable part. It causes static but I love mine

Hi the way I see it, a baby monitor is just a baby monitor, I think they all work the same, some might have longer distances than others, depending if you are going to use it outside. I am not going to get a baby monitor, I figured that baby will be sleeping with me for about 3 months, then will go in its room. If I need one, I will defiantly go out and buy one, I suppose its your own personal choice on which one you need. Sorry if I am not much of a help lol. Good luck hope you choose the right one. xoxox

Hey ya'll. I've posted several times in week 28 and week 29 asking for advice on baby monitors, what works well and what is the best for the cost. Don't particularly care if it is video or not probably wouldn't spend that much money (for a video one) but if it was reasonably priced wouldn't be opposed to it. Anyway, no one is responding to my posts at all and I am feeling invisible and ignored. I thought that maybe I'll get more of a response from my FRIENDS if I post it as a blog. Can you guys please let me know something even if it is just to say you don't have any knowledge on this issue? My baby shower is the 27th and I am wanting to add this to my registry and hope to get one at my shower. Also, if you have any input on swings I'd love to hear it too.
