My mood while writing this blog: Bummed out |
I figured, today, that maybe we might want to TRY some real solids to see if a fuller belly help Keira sleep at night. So, I went out and bought her some sweet potatoes, bananas and applesauce. I wasn't sure what I wanted to try first. I gave her half a container of sweet potatoes and I am about certain that she would have eaten the entire container if I had tried to feed her more. She was still grabbing at the spoon at the end and shoving it in her mouth. It just seems so soon. I wasn't ready to start any solids. I didn't start them with my son until he was 6 mths. and he was so much bigger than she is.

Friday, 22 May sweet potatoes was the first solid, after cereal, that I gave Jacob. I started with one TBSP well he was the same way. Then I took out another TBSP and still he wanted more so he wound up eating the whole container. When I started the fruit sometimes I would give him the full vegetable and half the fruit and he would eat all of it. I think he doesn't know when to stop, lol...He may not cry for a bottle or food but as soon as he sees it he's like, oh yeah, feed me NOW, and goes into a fit, LOL...
