07-4-2008 - Week 37

My mood while writing this blog:
scared but happy

Well, it is week 37 (at least the begging of) and labor is getting closer, I’ve been having this sharp pain in my legs while standing, Doctor told me is the baby making pressure on my pelvic nerves, I have a lot of pain in my left rib, the muscles are really sore, they had been for the last 4 months but is getting worst, sometimes I have to get rid off my bra, I don’t like to do this because my “humongous” boobs really need all the support they can get, lol but I can’t bare the pain. Pregnancy is really great but I missed being pregnant at 6 or 7 months, everything was easier, you look pregnant but you can move around, reach things in the floor, get off the bed and feel your baby move, now I feel like a useless cow, needing help for the easiest things, like standing up, I’m so glad I have this wonderful husband that doesn’t complain and help me out around the house, poor thing he’s still waiting for me to get the “energy burst” that came with “nesting”, everyone talks about this “nesting” thing, well I haven’t feel it yet, I don’t think I will, I feel so tired and sleepy all the time, I’m falling sleep at 4 or 5 am and getting up at 12 or 1 pm, so my days are not very productive, I barely do one or two things around the house and then hubby is home, and sit next to him to talk about his day (we loved spending time together), have some dinner, go for a walk together and watch a TV or youtube videos (which he’s addicted to) until he goes to bed and I go to bed too, but I fall sleep around 6 or 7 hours after him. He does the funniest thing every day, as soon as he gets home from work he put his hand on top of my belly (were ribs use to be) measuring with his fingers to see if I had drop (which I haven’t), he’s really ready to have the baby here, I’m not so ready, lol, I love this baby but I’m scared about the pain in labor and if I’m going to be a good mother, I’m almost 28 and I don’t feel ready, I know you never will be ready for such a huge change in your life, any way I kind of have “to be ready”, hahaha. Today we went to church and I noticed he was staring at something; he was looking at baby girl (1 or 2 months old) across the hall, it was so cute!, I told him: “see, babies look nice w/bands on their heads” (she was wearing one, and he doesn’t want our girl to wear those), he turned to me and said: “how did u know I was looking at the baby?” I just smile at him and tough for my self how much luck do I have to have this man on my life and what a wonderful father he will be…
