08-7-2008 - two months two weeks

Oh! well, Emma is getting bigger... for her 2 months Dr visit she was almost 14 lbs and 23 in nad got 5 SHOTS, yes 5! i hated the nurse she was as slow as she can be, i tried not to watch (hubby was the one holding her legs) she cried a little bit not a a lot and she wasn't fussy latter on, so i guess it was a success!... she's the cuttest baby ever (what can i say i'm her mom!), this past few days she discovered her thumb and she's sucking it very hard (i think she might started theeting), she look very cute doing this but i dont want her to have this bad habit...feedings are better now, since we discovered she was lactose sensitive (around week 3) she's on formula (lactose free) and now she's eating between 1.5 to 3 oz, 2.5 oz most of the time... i'm happy to report that she now sleeps 2.5 to 3 hours between feedings during the night, so is getting better, one or two times she was 4 hours but i was awake w/the bottle ready waiting for her. lol (i got used to wake up before she does), the new thing is that she poops in the middle of the night, lol! before she used to poop every 2 or 3 days now she poops 4 to 6 times! i think she's catching up, lol..last Saturday my sister-in-law was here w/my brother, and she was brave enough to pierce her ears... of course i couldn't watch! she cried but not because of the earings, because she was wraped, she looks beautiful with earings (i wanted to do it while baby because it would be more painful for her later on) they could be a little bit lower than they are (i' such a perfectionist) but they look ok... last night was a very nice night, she went to bed at 11pm (i had time to do some shores and went to bed at 12:30) and woke up every 3 hrs to eat, she woke up at noon! of course i woke up at noon to, lol...i took a shower and i bathed her and now she taking her 20 min nap on her swing...so it would be a nice day too!
