23-3-2009 - Bleeding and Baby Shower

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

Alright, this entire blog will probably be TMI so consider yourself warned.

Thursday when I went to the bathroom, I wiped and as usual looked at the TP, it's just a nasty habit from being pregnant because I'm always expecting something horrible to be there, well this time there was, a bunch of bright red blood. There were no clumps and since it hadn't leaked into my panties I decided to wait and see if it got better.

So next time I pee, same thing, but still nothing in my undies. So at this point I'm convinced it's a really bad UTI because if it was coming out of my vag, it should probably leak right? Well today, I had my 34 week appointment and told the Dr about it and he checked me, said I am still closed, but there was blood there. He said I probably just have a very sensitive cervix because I bled for the last couple weeks with Ryder, and that's the only explanation they gave me then, my cervix was irritated. Blah, so that kind of upset me , but her heartbeat is strong and she's moving around a ton, so I know she's fine.

He scheduled my last ultrasound for next Wednesday so I'm excited to see her again and hear about how big she is now.

My baby shower was saturday and I had a blast! We played a bunch of fun games(babyshower101.com has amazing suggestions) and ate yummy food. I got so many pink things, I'm so grateful for my loving friends and family. I'm going to have to excange some of the NB diapers for size 1 I think because I got so many and I know if she's born as big as they suspect, she won't be in NB size for very long at all.
